I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a double major in computer science and mathematics. In high school, I earned a 1530 on the SAT and scored 5s in over 10 AP exams including AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, and AP Computer Science A. I have extensive tutoring experience, most notably as the Lead Teaching Assistant for Girls Who Code’s Summer Immersion Program in 2024, where I taught programming and game design using p5.js to over 120 middle and high school students. In 2023, I worked as a private tutor, teaching high school subjects such as Geometry and Algebra II. I also created customized slide decks and worksheets to enhance student learning and practice.

Through all my tutoring experiences, I have mostly taught through Zoom. I am very familiar with the platform and utilizing tools including the whiteboard, screen-sharing, and polls to create an engaging and interacting learning environment for students. I have experience teaching students of all ages, with a focus on middle and high school students. Additionally, I have taught elementary school students science through my high school’s Women Interested in Science and Engineering Program. I am passionate about teaching, and I am excited to tutor a multitude of STEM subjects!
