Hi! I’ve been volunteering as a tutor for 2 years now, helping peers in math levels from Algebra 1 to Calculus 1. I’m patient, dedicated, engaging, and understanding. I love getting to the root of the issue when a student is having trouble grasping a concept, and the most rewarding part of teaching for me is when I can see the concept click. I believe that anyone can fall in love with math, or at least understand it, if they have the right mentor. I myself used to struggle in math, but now I know how to tackle challenging topics that seem intimidating, and I feel this makes me more understanding and compassionate towards my students. My goal isn’t only to help you understand the topic at hand, but also to teach you how to learn something independently, be patient with yourself, and trust yourself so you can be your own tutor.
