Hi, my name is Leland! I am a senior at Purdue University, in the Honors College, double majoring in mathematics and physics. Throughout my high school and college career, I’ve tutored lots of students in different subjects, but mostly math. My tutoring philosophy is that students should lead their own learning. My purpose is to answer questions and to guide the tutee in the right direction, giving explanations if needed. My favorite moments during tutoring occur when the tutee has an “aha” moment, and they understand a concept that they have been studying for a while. Some of my other interests include baseball and Mario games. I can’t wait to work with you!
