Hi! My name is Rachel, I’m 21 years old. I graduated high school and went to college for Social Sciences. I took many Psychology courses in college, including Child Psych. I feel very comfortable teaching younger children because my brother (who is now 10 years old) needed my help with most of his subjects. Helping my brother learn those subjects (English, Science, History) throughout elementary school helped me to understand what content the children are learning and what the best way to teach them is. I also helped teach at my churches daycare throughout Middle School and High School. Even though most of my experience is with children, I have helped people my age with learning new subjects. In college, I liked to help my friends with subjects they weren’t as familiar with. Teaching and helping people has always been a passion of mine. I am also very interested in music and the arts as hobbies. I like to play the guitar and paint in my free time. Since teaching is one of my passions, tutoring to me is very exciting and fun for me. I like to teach in ways that are fun for the students as well.
