Hi! I graduated from William and Mary summa cum laude as a Monroe Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa in 2020. I majored in studio art and psychology. I have 7 years of experience teaching math, ESL, and English to students of all ages.

In 2018, I completed an internship in New York City working with twice exceptional (2e) children. This experience revolutionized the way I teach. 2e children are extremely gifted and have special needs such as a specific learning disability or ADHD. This internship honed my skills to teach beyond academics, improving my ability to address attentional, organizational, and behavioral issues that may interfere with learning. This experience also taught me ways to best identify and bring out the talents and individual strengths that every student possesses.

I am extremely friendly and personable but I also expect a lot from my students because I see so much potential in them. I take an active interest in my students’ interests, talents, and learning styles and use this knowledge to create an environment that fosters their growth while addressing underlying challenges. I am passionate about the pursuit of learning and try to pass down this enthusiasm down to my students.
