Hi! My name is Samantha Bernier and I’m very excited to tutor as part of my journey to becoming a full-time educator. I’m currently a junior at Duke University studying math, and I have experience tutoring in Algebra 2, Pre-Calc, and SAT Math prep. I especially love teaching Algebra 1 and 2 because they really teach the fundamentals of all higher-level math subjects. The best part about math is that there are many ways to tackle one problem. Even when you are having trouble understanding, I will help you shift your perspective on a problem so you can easily solve it! I truly value the learning process, and as a result am highly patient while helping my students figure out problems in a way that makes sense to them.
