Hi! My name is Victoria, and I’m majoring in Foreign Affairs and minoring in Chinese at the University of Virginia. I worked for 3 years as a teaching assistant for a Mandarin after-school program teaching kids grades K-8. Through high school, I also had the opportunity to tutor in subjects such as Algebra I, Pre-Algebra, History, and AP U.S. Gov. Moreover, I have experience working with middle school and high school students when I taught public forum debate through the Charlottesville Debate League. University-level courses and AP classes lend me a strong foundation in Political Science, Chinese, and History. On a nice day, you usually find me reading a book or sketching landscapes. In my free time, I love kickboxing, sailing, and yoga. Receiving advice and guidance from a tutor helped me to reach my academic goals as a high schooler, and now I want to give back and help other students reach their full potential.
