About Vy D.

Hi! My name is Vy Do. I am currently an IT Auditor working at NBC. In my day to day job, I extensively read, write and practice logical math skills. I graduated Virginia Commonwealth University with an Information System degree and minor in Business Administration in 2016. I have been a tutor at Acakid for over 8 years and specialize in writing and math. I help students with any of their weaknesses and work with them to strengthen skills that need improvement. I consistently see improvement with my students in their grades while reaching target goals.

    Vy is great tutor and does her job exceptionally well. Despite the short time I had her as a tutor, she moderately improved my Sat scores. She helped me by giving me basic tips, going over problems I got wrong, reviewing geometry, teaching me grammar, and quizzing me on vocab words that I needed to know for the Sat. Other than minor difficulties with the website, there were never any problems. If one of us was unable to have a session a certain day, then we would always make it up and she is very flexible. Vy is an excellent tutor and I definitely recommend her to future students. -Michael
